Plants with hysteranthous leaves, solitary, inflorescence up to 25 mm high. Tuber irregularly-shaped, about 20 mm long and 20 mm wide; skin thin, interior pink; growing point basal. Old leaf sheaths about 30 mm long and 3 mm diameter. Leaf solitary, prostrate; contemporary leaf sheath not exserted; lamina orbicular to broadly ovate, cordate, up to 15 mm long and 18 mm wide, very dark green, glabrous, adaxial surface rough and covered with small round tubercles. Peduncular bract not observed. Peduncle up to 20 mm long and less than 1 mm diameter, mottled reddish-green. Raceme very compact, spicate, up to 15 mm long and 8 mm wide, with up to 8 flowers. Bracts triangular, 1 mm long, white, membranous, bent back under the flower. Pedicels up to 1 mm long. Flowers mostly sessile, triangular, up to 5 mm across. Tepals dimorphic, white with a green midnerve and irregular small maroon red blotches especially prominent on the outer tepals; outer tepals half-spreading, broadly elliptic, 3.5 mm long and 1.5 mm wide, inner erect, spathulate, obtuse-cuculate, 2.8 mm long and 1.8 mm wide. Filaments subequal, adnate to the base of the tepals, lanceolate, apiculate, 1 mm long, outer 0.8 mm wide, inner 0.5 mm wide, bright orange; anthers yellow. Ovary globose to irregularly rectangular, 1 mm long and wide, pale green with some purple blotching. Style cylindrical, 1 mm long, white.
