Plants with hysteranthous leaves, solitary, inflorescence up to 30 mm high. Tuber small, solitary, oblong to irregular in shape, up to 20 mm long, and 12 mm wide; skin thin, interior pink; growing point basal with a lateral groove. Old leaf sheaths up to 25 mm long and 1.5 mm diameter. Leaf solitary, prostrate but not ad pressed; contemporary leaf sheath barely exserted; lamina ovate, about 10 mm long and 7.5 mm wide, somewhat fleshy, both surfaces greyish-blue and covered with glassy tubercles; margin thickened, deeply crisped and involute. Peduncular bract not exserted. Peduncle 10 mm long and 1 mm diameter, very pale green, glabrous. Raceme broadly conical to sub-corymbose, 18 mm long and 30 mm across with five flowers. Bracts narrowly triangular, pouched, 1.5 mm long, adpressed to the pedicels, very pale green covered all over with fine red dots. Pedicels up to 12 mm long, very pale green to white. Flowers tending to a triangular outline but not fully spreading, up to 9 mm diameter. Tepals dimorphic, white with a pale green midnerve and very faint red streaking towards the apex, connate nearly 1 mm at the base; the outer tepals erecto-patent, oblanceolate with the sides slightly bent inwards, 5.5 mm long and barely 2 mm wide, the inner erect but not hiding the stamens, oblanceolate to spathulate with pinched-in apex, 5 mm long and 2 mm wide. Filaments sub-equal, adnate to the base of the tepals for up to 1 mm, triangular, fleshy, white, about 2 mm long and 1 mm at the base gradually tapering to the anther, the outer slightly wider, the inner slightly longer; anthers oval, 0.8 mm long, yellow. Ovary ovoid, 2 mm long and 1.5 mm wide, pale green, covered with red dots. Style cylindrical, 1.8 mm long, white, becoming pale yellow towards the stigma.
