Plants with hysteranthous leaves, solitary, foliage up to 140 mm high. Tuber irregularly-shaped, about 30 mm long and 25 mm wide; skin greyish-brown, interior white; growing point lateral. Old leaf sheaths 60 mm long, up to 6 mm wide, greyish-brown, membranous. Leaf solitary, erect; contemporary leaf sheath exserted 30 mm, 3mm diameter, white, covered in fine, white curly hairs; lamina orbicular cordate, 12 mm long and 10 mm wide, glabrous, upper surface with one much-branched enation up to 120 mm long and 75mm wide, bright green, glabrous, branches up to 60 mm long. Peduncular bract about 3 mm exserted and not sheathing, green with red streaking, glabrous, apex acute, retrorse. Peduncle 40 mm long and 1.0-1.5 mm diameter, green with faint red streaking. Raceme conical, compact, about 20 mm long and 7 mm wide, with up to 8 flowers. Bracts triangular, attenuate, 1 mm long, thin, membranous, white with red streaking. Pedicels about 3 mm long in flower, patent to erecto-patent. Flowers triangular in outline, about 10 mm diameter. Tepals connate at the extreme base for 0.5 mm, pale green with a darker green midnerve; outer tepals spreading, narrowly elliptic, 7 mm long and 1.8 mm wide, some red streaking surrounding the midnerve, the inner erect and surrounding the stamens and ovary, spathulate with an attenuate, fimbriate, pinched-in apex, 4.5 mm long and 2 mm wide. Filaments sub-equal, white, outer narrowly conical, 3 mm long and 1.5 mm wide, inner slightly smaller and becoming narrower distally, 2.5 mm long and 1.0-1.5 mm wide. Ovary ovoid, 2 mm long and 1.5 mm wide, green. Style cylindrical, 2 mm long white.
