Plants with hysteranthous leaves, solitary, inflorescence about 420 mm high. Tuber simple or multiple, irregularly-shaped, 30mm long and 20 mm wide; skin greyish-brown, thin, interior pinkish-red; growing point lateral or basal with a lateral groove for the shoot. Old leaf sheaths up to 150 mm long and 6 mm diameter spreading to 15 mm at ground level, greyish-brown, membranous. Leaf solitary, prostrate; contemporary leaf sheath not exserted; lamina orbicular-cordate, up to 115 mm wide and 70 mm from the apex to the depression, abaxial surface glabrous, silvery white, smooth, showing distinct veins in the dried state, adaxial surface covered with a mass of tiny raised pustules each with a single golden unbranched hair 2-3 mm long; margin closely villous. Peduncular bract barely exserted. Peduncle up to 320 mm long and 1.5 mm diameter. Raceme lax, 180 mm long, with up to 25 flowers. Bracts narrowly triangular, 1 mm long, membranous, white, with brown midnerve. Pedicels lowest up to 32 mm long, arcuate, erecto-patent. Flowers triangular outlined, about 8 mm diameter. Tepals dimorphic, white with a brownish-green midnerve and purple streaking, outer tepals spreading, narrowly elliptic, 5 mm long and 1.8 mm wide, inner erect, spathulate with pinched-in apex, 5 mm long and 2 mm wide. Filaments dimorphic, white, outer adnate to the base of the tepals, broadly ovate, apiculate and arched inwards, 1.5 mm long and about 1 mm wide, inner adnate to the tepals for 1 mm, narrowly triangular, apiculate, 1 mm long up to nearly 0.5 mm wide. Ovary ovate, 1.5-2.0 mm long and 1.5 mm wide, green. Style cylindrical, 1 mm long, green.
