Plants with hysteranthous leaves, solitary, inflorescence up to 350 mm high. Tuber up to 30 mm wide, unlobed or with a few lobes, smooth or irregularly tuberculate; skin light brown, interior maroon-red; growing point basal. Old leaf sheaths not seen. Leaf solitary, sub-erect; contemporary leaf sheath exserted about 10 mm, with few scattered spreading hairs; lamina ovate, 50 mm long and 30 mm wide, abaxial surface glabrous, adaxial surface with scattered papillae less than 1 mm long, cylindrical, ending with a long white hair up to 3 mm long and a cluster of very short hairs; margin with tufts of hairs on the top of short papillae. Peduncular bract not seen. Peduncle up to 200 mm long. Raceme lax, up to 120 mm long and 45 mm wide, with about 12 flowers. Bracts 1 mm long, triangular to cymbiform, membranous, with a brown midnerve. Pedicels up to 45 mm long, wiry, erecto-patent, arcuate. Flowers triangular, about 9 mm diameter. Tepals dimorphic, connate for nearly 1 mm, white with green or brownish green midnerve, outer elliptic to narrowly lanceolate, 5.5 mm long and 1.8 mm wide; inner spathulate with pinched-in fimbriate apex, 5 mm long and 2.5 mm. Filaments dimorphic, whitish, outer broadly lanceolate or ovate, flattened, inner adnate to the base of the tepal for nearly 1 mm, then narrowly triangular. Ovary globose to subglobose, green, speckled brown. Style white.
