Plants with hysteranthous leaves, but multiple tubers may have leaves and inflorescences at the same time from different growing points, inflorescence up to 300 mm high. Tuber solitary to multiple, sub-globose, flattened below, 30 mm long, and up to 65 mm wide; roots few from about the equator area, thick, up to 3.5 mm diameter, gradually tapering; skin light brown, rough, interior bright yellow to orange; growing point apical. Old leaf sheaths 10-20 mm long, 4-7 mm wide, membranous, grey-brown. Leaf solitary, prostrate to suberect; contemporary leaf sheath exserted 5-10 mm, 2 mm diameter, white to very pale green, glabrous; lamina orbicular to ovate-cordate up to 36 mm from apex to depresion and 45 mm from apex to the base of the lobes, 45 mm wide, apiculate, light green, fleshy, glabrous; margin entire. Peduncular bract sheathing part exserted up to 20 mm, very pale green, nonsheathing part leaf-like, broadly ovate cordate, 43 mm long, 40 mm wide, green, indistinguishable from the foliage leaves, glabrous. Peduncle up to 180 mm long, 3 mm wide near the base, glaucous green, glabrous. Raceme up to 70 mm long, 30 mm wide when the flowers are open, with 15-30 flowers. Bracts triangular, attenuate, 1.5 mm long, green with a membranous apex. Pedicels up to 16 mm long in flower, less in bud, erecto-patent. Flowers spreading to recurved, 12-14 mm diameter. Tepals subequal, Iigulate, 9-10 mm long, 2 mm wide, pale lemon yellow with a green midnerve; outer tepals with an attenuate apex, inner with a rounded apex. Filaments adnate 2 mm up the tepals, filiform, apiculate 2.5 mm long, white. Anthers 0.8 mm long, yellow. Ovary narrowly ovoid merging into the style, 3 mm long, 1.5 mm wide, pale green. Style cylindrical 1.5 mm long, 0.5 mm wide, white.
