Plants with hysteranthous leaves, inflorescence up to 120 mm high. Tuber simple or multiple, pyriform to globose, 18 mm long and 15 mm wide; skin thin, light brown, interior white: growing point apical or less often lateral. Old leaf sheaths up to 70 mm long, 3 mm wide, fibrous, grey-brown. Leaf solitary, erect to suberect; contemporary leaf sheath exserted by 20 mm, 1 mm diameter, glabrous, streaked with dark red; lamina elliptic to ovate-cordate, 35 mm long, 20 mm wide, both surfaces bright green, glabrous. Peduncular bract large, leaflike, narrowly to broadly ovate-cordate, acute, about 36 mm from apex to lobes and 25 mm wide, bright green, glabrous. Peduncle extended up to 20 mm beyond peduncular bract, 1 mm diameter, green. Raceme compact, corymbose, 15 mm long, 20 mm wide, with up to 30 flowers. Bracts triangular, attenuate, 1 mm long, membranous, colourless with a reddish-brown midnerve. Pedicels erecto-patent, up to 10 mm long. Flowers spreading to recurved, sweetly scented. Tepals subequal, pale to bright yellow, with a green midnerve; outer linear to narrowly elliptic, 7 mm long, 1.8 mm wide, inner narrowly oblanceolate, 6 mm long, 2.3 mm wide. Filaments equal, filiform, 2.5-2.8 mm long, orange-yellow. Ovary ovoid, green. Style cylindrical, yellow. Capsule up to 9 mm long, 4.5-6.0 mm wide, tepals persistent.
