Trunk forked, 20-35 ft. long. Leaves crowded, sessile, lanceolate, subcoriaceous, 3-4 ft. long, 3 in. broad at the middle, narrowed to 1 in. above the dilated base; midrib visible nearly to the apex. Panicle 1 ft. or more long; flowers densely congested at the apex of the branchlets; bracts minute, ovate; pedicels ⅙ in. long. Perianth whitish, ⅓ in. long; tube as long as the segments. Style exserted.
