Stem slender, woody. Leaves laxly disposed, ascending; petiole channelled, 4-8 in. long; blade oblong, narrowed to a deltoid cuspidate apex, 4-6 in. long, 2-3 in. broad at the middle, rounded at the base to the winged apex of the petiole, firm in texture, glossy; midrib visible beneath only in the upper half. Inflorescence shortly peduncled; flowers in few dense clusters at the end and side of the rhachis; pedicels ⅛-⅙ in. long; bracts minute.
